Each summer, over 3,000 kids and families join us at the Kansas City Zoo & Aquarium for a day of movement, mindfulness, literacy, and fun. With 40 sponsors and 75+ volunteers, it’s one of Kansas City’s largest youth wellness celebrations — and we’re expanding into a regional tour.

Animal Movements...
TMF’s signature wellness series — blending movement, literacy, and mindfulness through playful, animal-inspired activities kids love.
From classrooms and community spaces to special events, our Animal Movements programming helps children build emotional regulation, confidence, coordination, and healthy habits through storytelling, journaling, and purposeful movement.
We’re proud to partner with Special Olympics on the newly developed Animal Kingdom edition — expanding inclusive, movement-based learning for children of all abilities.
As demand continues to grow, we’re actively expanding Animal Movements into new zoo partnerships beyond Kansas City, with our Zoo-based experiences launching soon.
